Merry Money Competition Terms and Conditions
Consent: By participating and entering or provide information for The Financial Services Council of New Zealand Incorporated (the FSC) Merry Money Competition from 20 November to 20 December 2024 (the Competition) all participants or entrants (the Entrants or you) agree to these Terms and Conditions which includes the FSC Privacy Policy. All information provided on the Money and You Website (the Website) relating to the Competition is subject to the Money and You Disclaimer .
The Promoter and Entrants: The Promoter of the Competition is the FSC. The competition is only open to New Zealand residents and must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/ guardian consent which will be provided to the FSC on request.
Details: Entrants must follow the full Competition instructions on the Website to enter the competition which includes but is not limited to, sharing a Competition video available on the Website or the Money and You Instagram or TikTok account.
Competition entries open at 09:00 NZT on Monday 20 November 2023 and close at 18:00 NZT on Wednesday 20 December.
All entries to the Competition become the property of the FSC and will not be returned to the Entrants.
Liability Disclaimer: The Competition organisers and their agents do not accept any liability for any errors or omissions which may appear on the Website or Social Media (such as Instagram or TikTok) in relation to the Competition or any Competition materials. To the best of our knowledge, comments were correct at the time of writing. The Competition organisers and their agents reserve the right to amend any part of the Competition without notice. Such amendments may include change of dates and times, substitutions or cancellations of prizes. The Competition organisers and their agents accept no responsibility or liability for any late, lost or misdirected entries caused by you (provided you have taken all necessary steps to enter the promotion) which may result in delay or failure to enter you into the draw.
Prizes and Prize Draw:
Ten (10) Entrants will be chosen by the FSC through Instagram and TikTok at random who have followed the full Competition instructions on the Website. The prize winner(s) will receive the prize that is advertised on the Website. The FSC accepts no responsibility or liability for any prize winner’s enjoyment of any prize or any other costs and expenses that may be incurred by the prize winner relating to the prize or the winner’s enjoyment of that prize (including any travel related costs where relevant).
Each of the ten (10) winning Entrants will receive:
A cap
A bucket hat
Socks
Giblets for Croc shoes
The one (1) overall winner will also receive a $NZ250 prezzy card.
Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged or redeemed for cash. The FSC takes no responsibility for entries or prizes that are lost or destroyed.
The FSC will endeavour to notify each of the prize winners by email, text or phone. However, if the winner cannot be reached within three attempts, the FSC may select a new prize winner without liability to any person. The FSC reserves the right to contact the selected winners by other means.
The decisions of the FSC on all matters relating to this Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The FSC reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner's right to redeem the prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The FSC reserves the right to amend the prizes offered and these Terms and Conditions and in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition at any time and without prior notice.
Interviews and Photography: Accepting the prize constitutes a winner's consent to be photographed or interviewed by the FSC and for the FSC to use his or her or their name, city or town of residence, competition entry or photographs and interviews for Competition or publicity purposes without compensation. This includes on the FSC’s website, the Website, direct and social media channels.
Third Party: By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you agree to the FSC adding your details to the contact database and sharing your details with third parties connected to the Competition, including sponsors and such consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting the FSC. Contact details and personal information can be amended at any time by contacting the FSC.
